Athletic Facilities

Finger Lakes offers outstanding athletic training and recreational facilities that will help you develop or enhance your athletic skills. The gymnasium accommodates approximately 2,400 spectators for various athletic events throughout the year and serves as an instructional facility for physical education classes.

Within the gymnasium is a fitness center open free of charge to students, faculty, staff, and alumni, all of whom can get a complete workout using new state-of-the-art equipment. The center houses selectorized strength-training equipment from LifeFitness; a handicapped-accessible, dual-adjustable pulley machine; and cardiovascular equipment including treadmills, elliptical trainers, rowers, recumbent bikes, upright bikes, stepmills, and steppers.

The fitness center and gymnasium are open daily to students for intramural activities and physical fitness. A FLCC Smartsaver SUNY ID and orientation to equipment is required. Open gym and fitness center schedules are available through the Physical Education Department Office on the third floor.
