About the Coach
Coach Dave Stein played lacrosse at Webster High School and then at Michigan State University, where he was an all conference midfielder in 1988, team captain in 1989 and played in the NCAA Division I Tournament in 1987 and 1989.
Coach Stein previously coached at Newark Central School, leading the program to the Section V Class B tournament four years in a row. Prior to that, Coach Stein was the head lacrosse coach at Aquinas Institute. As the first coach of the men's lacrosse program he led Aquinas to the Section V Class B tournament from 1995 thru 1998. Dave's extensive lacrosse background includes working at numerous lacrosse camps and clinics and also creating youth lacrosse programs in Newark, Webster, and Rochester.
Dave was named Mid State Conference Coach of the Year in 2008.
