2009 NJCAA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP - The FLCC Men finished the season with several personal best and season’s best performances. Freshman, Zach Amidon finished 6th in the 400M dash (49.86) setting a school record. He also finished 6th in 400M Intermediate Hurdles (56.28). The 4X100M team (Mike Werner, Moore, Josh Shelton, Shane Shaffer) had a solid showing finishing 12th while the same foursome broke the school record in the 4X400M relay team.
In all, the men broke 11 school records during the 2009 Track and Field season. Zach Amidon set three records (200M, 400M, and 400M hurdles). Also setting school records were: Dynell Scott (800M), 2008 Cross Country All-American Chris Driscoll (5000M), Ben Howard (10000M), Adam Scheele (Pole Vault) and Karhim Stephens in both the Javelin and Discus throw.
