10/17/09-Genesee Valley Park - Shannon O’Brien covered the 5k course at the University of Rochester Yellow Jacket Invitational in a personal best time of 22:30.  She finished two minutes faster than she has ever run.

10/10/09-Nazareth College – The Lakers ran well at the Golden Flyer Invitational finishing eighth in a 10 team field that featured eight four-year schools.   Shannon O’Brien led the effort with a time of 19:13 on the muddy 4k course. She was followed by Michelle Yoffee, Casey Johnston, Danielle DiSalvo and Tiffany Johnston.

9/26/09- Houghton College– Casey Johnston led the Lakers and posted a season’s best time (23:42) at the Houghton College Highlander Invitational.  She was followed by Shannon O’Brien, Michelle Yoffee, and Tiffany Johnston.  Both Yoffee and Tiffany Johnston had personal best times.

9/19/09 - Finger Lakes Community College -The Lady Lakers ran well at Home in the Bruce Bridgman Invitational and all athletes showed significant improvements. The Lakers were led by sophomore Casey Johnston (26th). She was followed by Shannon O'Brien (28th), Stephanie Waite (33rd) and Tiffany Johnston (35th).

9/12/09 - Alfred State College - The FLCC Women kicked off the 2009 Season with a second place finish at the Alfred State Invitational. The Lakers were led by Sophomores Stephanie Waite (5th) and Casey Johnston (9th). Shannon O'Brien, Michelle Yoffee, and Tiffany Johnston finished 13th, 14th and 16th respectively.

2008

 

11/08/08 Woman’s NJCAA National Cross-Country Championship - Lincoln, Rhode Island

In the Woman’s NJCAA National Cross-Country Championship race, Emily Enright and Terra Herman earned ALL-AMERICAN honors for their 10th and 11th place finishes. Enright led the Lakers covering the challenging 5k course in 21:02. Terra Herman finished in 21:05, 55 seconds faster than her previous best. Brooke Everdyke had a solid race finishing 35th and Casey Johnston shaved 1:00 off her personal best to finish 41st. Erin Albert rounded out the scoring (46th) and Stephanie Waite pushed through the pain to finish in 50th place. Their efforts earned the team a 4th place finish in a very deep women’s field.

10/25/08  Region 3 Championship, Utica NY

The 4th ranked FLCC Women raced to a fourth place finish at the Region 3 Championships against the top 5 teams in the nation.   Terra Herman pushed through the pain and ran a magnificent race and her 7th place finish earned her a place on the All-Region 3 Team.  Herman covered the rain soaked course in a personal best time 22:00. Emily Enright,  just returning after an illness, gave all that she had to finish 11th.  She was followed by Brooke Everdyke (23rd), Krista Mitchell (28th), Erin Albert (36th), Stephanie Waite (40th), and Casey Johnston (44th)   The women will be competing at the National Championships at the Community College of Rhode Island on November 8th.

9/27/08  Highlander Invitational at Houghton College.

The 8th ranked FLCC Lakers beat Alfred State (the 4th ranked team in the nation).  Emily Enright finished 9th overall with a season’s best time of 19:57.  Stephanie Waite (22:14),  Erin Albert (22:16), Terra Herman (22:23) and Krista Mitchell (22:50) all recorded personal bests.  Brooke Everdyke and Casey Johnston both ran season’s best times.

9/19/08  Bruce Bridgman Invite at FLCC

The women finished second to Alfred State and beat Broome CC (ranked 3rd in the nation) Emily Enright won the race, covering the 5k course in 21:30.  She was followed by She was followed by Erin Albert (Webster) Stephanie Waite (Wayne),  Brooke Everdyke (Newark) Krista Mitchell (Bloomfield) and Casey Johnston (Manchester).

9/13/08   Alfred State Invitational

The FLCC women kicked off their 2008 campaign at with strong performances.  The Lady Lakers were led by Sophomore Emily Enright (Palmyra) with a third place finish (23:30).  She was followed by Erin Albert (Webster) Stephanie Waite (Wayne),  Brooke Everdyke (Newark) and Casey Johnston (Manchester).

2007

 

On September 22, 2007 the Women traveled to Houghton and turned in some impressive early season performances. The Lady Lakers who were ranked 8th in the NJCAA National Coaches poll beat 6th ranked Alfred State.  The women were led by Emily Rodenhouse who covered the 5k course in 20:57.  She was followed by Erin Albert and Terra Herman who posted personal best times of 22:32 and 22:57 respectively.  Krista Mitchell and Loralyn Thompson rounded out the scoring and were followed by Katie Star and Christina Slover.

On September 28, 2007 the Lakers were at home for the Bruce Bridgman Invitational. The women had a strong showing against several of the top teams in the nation.   In fact, the women beat 3rd ranked Erie CC and 6th ranked Alfred to finish 4th overall.   The team was led by Emily Rodenhouse who covered the 5k course in 21:55. She was followed by Erin Albert (23:26), Terra Herman (23:48),  Krista Mitchell (24:58) and Loralyn Thompson (25:28). Katie Star and Christina Slover had solid races and have improved each week
